The Kaneda’s Laser is a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. This Tediore Rocket Launcher is the only launcher in the game that is able to score critical hits, which gives the weapon massive damage potential. It is therefore advisable to aim carefully, scoring critical hits to maximize each shot’s damage.

The Kaneda’s Laser can be obtained from 5H4D0W-TP in System Shutdown.
How to Grind the Kaneda’s Laser ?:
You can use the Grinder to create the Kaneda’s Laser. While there is no guaranteed recipe, you can combine 2 Legendary Weapons and 1 Purple Rocket Launcher to obtain a random legendary Rocket Launcher. Be sure to make it a luneshine grind for a “guaranteed” legendary and also get a chance of getting a luneshine buff.
Notes:
- This weapon will always spawn with the Torgue sight.
- The splash damage will not hurt the wielder.
- Despite its name and behavior, Kaneda’s Laser is not affected by skills and other bonuses that only affect lasers.
Trivia:
- Kaneda’s Laser is a reference to the film “Akira“, where the main character wields a weapon similar in nature to Kaneda’s Laser.
