About the Lucian’s Call:

The Lucian’s Call is a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands 3. This Vladof Assault Rifle thinks that’s a Jakobs weapon as its special legendary effect is the same as the Rowan’s Call.

The Lucian’s Call shoots as a Vladof weapon but the projectiles behave like Jakobs ammo. Meaning that you have a high fire rate assault rifle that shoots bullets that ricochet to nearby enemies.

A cool detail is that The Lucian’s Call has a wooden texture skin like you would see on a Jakobs weapon. The Lucian’s Call does have a bit of a knockback, so you need to keep this weapon in check to score those critical hits.

Ideally, you want to get a cryo version of The Lucian’s Call as this is the most well-rounded element compared to the other available elements.

Special Weapon Effect:

“What happened?”

  • Critical hits return 2 bullets to your magazine and ricochet 2 bullets at the nearest enemy.
  • No Alternative Fire mode.

Elements:

Elemental Damage Guide

Fire damage is strong against Flesh and can cause targets to burn. Burning deals high damage over a 5-second duration.

Corrosive damage is strong against Armor and causes targets to melt. Melting deals high damage over a 7-second duration.

Cryo damage slows enemies and eventually freezing them. Cryo efficiency is the percentage of damage dealt that is applied as Cryo, at 100% efficiency, enemies will freeze at 20% health. Frozen enemies are unable to move and take 3x Melee damage

How do you get the Lucian’s Call in Borderlands 3?

You can get the Lucian’s Call randomly as a “world drop” from any suitable loot source, however, it has a 50% chance of dropping from ‘Blue Fire‘ who is the boss located in Slaughterstar 3000.
Another way of obtaining the Lucian’s Call is by farming Dinklebot in Skywell-27 on Promethea. You can give the Loot-o-Grams to Crazy Earl in return you can get a Lucian’s Call, a Butcher, or junk.

  1. Early game – 8/10
    TVHM – 7/10
    M1-4 5/10

Overall a good mid tier weapon, though easily replaced by a decent Dictator.
