BLTPS Legendary OZkit - Moonlight Saga

The Moonlight Saga is a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. This Dahl Oz Kit is a situational Oz Kit to use. It will either provide passive health regeneration in areas with an atmosphere or allow the wearer to gain a percentage of life taken from enemies. This can offset its low oxygen supply in a vacuum, allowing Vault Hunters to keep their health topped up by damaging enemies, despite having no oxygen.

Element:

Shock, Incendiary, Corrosive, Cryo, Explosive

Special Weapon Effects:

“You give me everything just by breathing”
Fixed capacity. In a vacuum, damage inflicted to enemies is returned to the user as health, and borders of the screen may sparkle. Provides passive health regeneration in an atmosphere.

How to get the Moonlight Saga ?:

The Moonlight Saga can be obtained randomly from any suitable loot source but also has an increased chance to drop from the Tiny Destroyer during the mission Lab 19.

How to Grind the Moonlight Saga ?:

You can use the Grinder to create the Moonlight Saga. While there is no guaranteed recipe, you can combine 3 Purple Oz Kits to obtain a random legendary Oz Kit.

Notes:

  • Its low oxygen supply however, means characters will quickly lose health in airless environments outside of combat. It also means that the wearer cannot revive a teammate using oxygen, without an air supply, as it costs roughly that much to revive a downed teammate.
  • Since Claptrap does not require oxygen in-vacuum, Claptrap players will be able to use the Kit’s benefits to their full effectiveness. But despite that, its low O2 capacity still limits the ability to revive teammates with oxygen as well as limits the number of double-jumps which can be made.

Trivia:

  • This Oz Kit’s name, flavor text and effect are a reference to The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Passive atmospheric HP regeneration refers to Edward Cullen saying at one point, “Bella, you give me everything just by breathing.”, while Life Steal (enabled in vacuum) refers to state of being a vampire. The borders of the screen sparkling reference the vampires in the series sparkling when exposed to sunlight.
