About the Muse Class Mod:
The Muse is a Legendary item in Borderlands 3. This Siren Class Mod is for the true brawler among us. You gain various bonuses for getting in close and using melee attacks.
Special Weapon Effect:
“Ascend the brightest heaven of invention.”
Whenever Amara damages an enemy with a melee attack she projects ‘melee damage outwards’ of her attuned element towards another nearby enemy. This skill has a short 3-second cooldown.
How to get the Muse?:
The Muse has a 10% chance of dropping from Evil Lilith who is located at Castle Crimson in Krieg’s Mind. But this class mod can also randomly drop from any suitable loot source.
Bonus Skills:
Variants of the Muse grants the following bonuses:

| Jab Cross | This skill gives Amara a bonus to Action Skill damage and gun damage for a short time after she deals melee damage to an enemy. Gun Damage: +3% per rank Action Skill Damage: +15% per rank Duration: 10 seconds |
| Illuminated Fist | This skill increases Amara’s melee damage and also converts it to elemental damage of the same type as her Action Skill element. Melee Damage: +75% |
| Laid Bare | This skill increases Amara’s melee damage, and temporarily increases the range of her melee attacks after she uses her Action Skill. Damage Increase: +8.3(+8.4)% per rank Duration: 8 seconds |
Notes
- Amara’s Muse COM can spawn with +3 in Illuminated Fist and +5 in Laid Bare.
- Best Roll: 1/1 “Illuminated Fist”, 3/3 “Laid Bare”, 1/5 “Jab-Cross”
- While the damage from the Class Mod projectile is based on the Melee hit, the actual damage that it deals isn’t Melee Damage.
