About the Mutant:
The Mutant is a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands 3. This Jakobs Assault Rifle shoots a continuous laser beam. While the range of the laser is limited, the Mutant still ricochets a projectile to a nearby enemy when scoring a Critical hit. The Mutant fires like a Gatlin Gun and has a heavy kickback, this makes it challenging to keep your aim on a target when sustaining fire. Aiming down sight makes it a bit easier to control the weapon recoil.

How to get the Mutant?:
The Mutant can be obtained in the Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC it has a 15% chance of dropping from Fungal Gorger who is located in The Cankerwood on Xylourgas. They are also one of the Rare Spawns in DLC 2.

Notes:
- The Mutant occasionally appears in Maurice’s Black Market.
- Double Barrel Skill: The Clone can’t handle laser weapons and will instead slowly shoot single laser shots.
