About the Red Card:
The Red Card is a Legendary Item in Borderlands 3. This Anshin Shield will discharge its energy capacity when sliding into an enemy. That way the Red Card shield will break but will deal the amount of damage of your current shield strength. So if you like to live on the edge and are into close up combat, the Red Card can be useful. Personally, I would run the Red Card Re-Charger as that shield provides more safety due to its second special effect. However, if you are into the whole sliding and dealing damage. The Red Card generally has a higher shield capacity and therefore can deal more damage with the slide.

How to get the Red Card?:
The Red Card can randomly be obtained through any loot source but it has a 15% chance of dropping from Gigamind who is located in Meridian Metroplex on Promethea.
Trivia:
- The name refers to the card shown by a soccer referee when a player is ejected from the game. The flavor text references the studs on soccer cleats, and the effect (deliberately sliding into someone) is an example of what could earn a soccer player a red card.
