About the Shooting Star:
The Shooting Star is a Legendary item in Borderlands 3. This Pangolin shield will summon an elemental projectile when you melee an enemy when your shield has been depleted. The element of the projectile is the same element as the elemental resistance of the shield. Since the elemental projectile only can be triggered when your shield is depleted it’s a good thing the shield recharge delay on the Shooting star is pretty long.
Special Weapon Effect:
“Don’t look up.”
- When depleted, melee hits spawn a shooting star projectile that deals damage to the target.
How to get the Shooting Star?:
The Shooting Star can be obtained from any loot source but has a 15% chance of dropping from Turnkey Tim who is located in Floodmoor Basin on Eden-6.
Trivia:
- The Shooting Star is a returning shield from Borderlands the Pre-Sequel, however, this time it’s no longer a Roid shield and produced by the SCAV but now it’s produced by Pangolin.
- The red flavor text is a jab at spotting actual shooting stars.
