About the Snowshoe:
The Snowshoe is a Legendary item in Borderlands 3. This Anshin shield is part of the Takedown at Maliwan’s Blacksite. It combines the effects of the ‘Red Card’ and the ‘Frozen Heart‘ into one shield.

- Sliding into enemies drains all shields & deals up to 5949 bonus cryo damage based on the shield strength.
- 30% of the Nova damage is returned as health.
How to get the Snowshoe?:
The Snowshoe can be obtained in Maliwan’s Blacksite, it has a 22% chance of dropping from Valkyrie Squad.
Notes:
- The Nova can be triggered at long-range by utilizing a snowdrift artifact. The snowball that you launch during your slide counts and therefore triggers the special legendary effect.
- Moze can combine the Snowshoe with a Spark Plug Deathless Artifact, the C’mon and Slam Guardian Perk, and the Bloodletter Class Mod. Whenever you slam the Spark Plug will trigger the Snowshoe and the Bloodletter will heal you. The Bloodletter’s healing will scale significantly due to the Deathless Artifact. The C’mon and Slam Perk makes it easier for you to perform this unique interaction.
- The Snowshoe occasionally appears in Maurice’s Black Market.
