The Zim is a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. This Scav Pistol abnormally high stats for a Scav handgun.

How to get the Zim ?:
The Zim can be obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Giant Shuggurath of Ice located in Triton Flats (Giant Shuggurath of Ice are the cryo-based Shugguraths).
How to Grind the Zim ?:
You can use the Grinder to create the Zim. While there is no guaranteed recipe, you can combine 2 Legendary Weapons and 1 Purple Pistol to obtain a random legendary Pistol. Be sure to make it a luneshine grind for a “guaranteed” legendary and also get a chance of getting a luneshine buff.
Notes:
- Zim’s abnormally high stats for a Scav handgun may make it a desirable weapon for a Lawbringer invested into the skills One for Each of ya and Faster’n You, as they increase the use of handguns with low fire rate significantly.
- Additionally, a Baroness specced into the Cold Money skill tree can make great use of Zim, as it is always cryo element.

- The name of the weapon and its flavor text are references to the 1997 film, “Starship Troopers”.
