Best Legendary Grenade Mods
There are a lot of legendary Grenade Mods in Borderlands 3 but like any true Vault Hunter, you only want to best of the best. This weapons guide will tell you exactly which grenade mods you should have equipped in your inventory. So get ready to farm these babies:
5. Epicenter
The Epicenter is a Vladof Grenade Mod shoots out a ring of 13 orbs that deal incendiary damage to enemy targets. The orbs do not deal damage to you. The Epicenter is an effective grenade in tight spaces because the further the orbs travel the more apart they will be. You should definitely get one with a bounce module on it. Because each bounce will trigger the Epicenter’s special effect. The Epicenter has an increased chance of dropping from DJ Deadsk4g who is located in The Splinterlands on Pandora. But this weapon can also be randomly obtained from any suitable loot source as a ‘World Drop’.
4. Quasar
The Quasar is being manufactured by Tediore, Atlas, Hyperion, and Torgue. The only thing that changes is the delivery mechanic. The Quasar is an awesome shock grenade and probably one of the best grenade mods in the game. On Impact, the Quasar creates a singularity and releases arcs of electricity that chain to nearby enemies. It’s great for stripping enemy shields or stacking those consecutive hit bonuses. The Quasar can be obtained from any loot source but has a high chance of dropping from the Wick and Warty who are located in Lectra City on Promethea.
3. Storm Front
The Storm Front is produced by Vladof, Hyperion, and Tediore. The manufacturer only determines the delivery method. When thrown the Storm Front will spawn several MIRV grenades that all deal continues shock damage. This is a very effective grenade mod to strip multiple enemies from their shields. The Storm front can be obtained from any loot source but has a high chance of dropping from El Dragon Jr. who is located in the Jakobs Estate on Eden-6.
2. Hex
The Hex grenade is still one of the best grenades in Borderlands 3. While it got nerfed it still 1 of the highest damaging grenades in the game. The Hex is a homing grenade that targets the closest enemy and generates an elemental coil. Unlike the Storm Front and the Quasar, it can come in different elements. Having a Cryo or Radiation variant at your disposal is very lucrative. The Hex can be obtained from any loot source but has a high chance of dropping from the Sky Bullies who are located in The Anvil on Eden-6.
1. It’s Piss
The It’s Piss grenade mod is more of a utility grenade but it’s one of the most used grenade mods in any character build. This Vladof Grenade Mod lets you mark targets and do bonus damage to them. This is a really great tool to have when farming bosses. You can also cleanse yourself from status effects with this grenade, however, it doesn’t work on the Cryo/Freeze effect. The It’s Piss can be obtained from any loot source but has an increased chance of dropping from Sloth & Captain Thunk who are located in Konrad’s Hold on Pandora.
Bonus: Fish Slap
The Fish Slap is another weird grenade mod that lets you create cool interactions with other gear. Sadly, it’s only obtainable during the Revenge of the Cartels Event. This grenade mod deals melee damage instead of the regular grenade splash damage. Therefore, with the right gear, you can, for example, restore your ammo with this item. Very useful if you need more heavy weapon ammo.
