Most legendary items work fine on Level 40, however, when you are climbing those additional Chaos Levels, you want to have gear that destroys. Therefore, you want to farm these SMGs in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
The White Rider is manufactured by Dahlia and is part of the base game. This SMG can only come with the Poison elemental damage type.
The White Rider has 2 firing modes a single beam that deals a lot of damage but needs to charge up or a multi-beam that fires instantly but doesn’t deal as much damage.
There are a lot of builds that utilize this Dahlia SMG as it is an awesome weapon to use.
The Shadowfire is manufactured by Feriore and is part of the base game. This SMG fires elemental Orbs in an arching trajectory, that explode on impact dealing the weapon’s elemental Damage.
The cool magic happens when you reload the Shadowfire. Because it’s a Feriore, you throw the weapon and it will create a large Shadow Pillar on impact. It’s not just cool but also powerful. This reload is a direct reference to Orendi’s Shadowfire Pillar in Battleborn.
You can obtain the Shadowfire randomly as a World Drop or at the Chaos Bunnies, however, you can also farm Mike – The Mushroom Healer who is located in WeepWild Dankness.
The Live Wire is manufactured by Dahlia and is part of the base game. This SMG has a high chance to connect a Lighting Beam with an enemy, that can chain to other enemies.
The Live Wire passively grants +20% Melee Damage and is therefore often used in Melee Builds.
Additionally, while holding the Live Wire every 2nd Melee Strike zaps the target, dealing 100% Lighting Melee Damage over 1 second.
You can obtain the Live Wire randomly as a World Drop or at the Chaos Bunnies.
The Throwable Hole is manufactured by Feriore and is part of the base game. This SMG is thrown when it’s reloaded where it will create a Black Hole on impact.
As the Black Hole sucks in nearby enemies it will continuously deal Dark Magic Damage. However, when you toss another Throwable Hole into the Black Hole it will double the size and damage of the Black Hole.
This SMG has become very powerful since Hotfix 18.104.22.168a
You can obtain the Throwable Hole randomly as a World Drop or at the Chaos Bunnies.
- The Dahlia Nightshade with the Frost Element is a powerful Purple Weapon.
- The Fragment Rain in combination with the Marshmallow is a great combo.
- The Wizard’s Pipe is cool as it changes its elemental damage based on your enemy’s health bar.
Great weapons will carry you so much. What you really want to do is create an awesome character build because the synergies between the items and your skill trees are what push you to the next level.
