Top 10 Weapons in Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep
Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep added a bunch of unique weapons to Borderlands 2 back in the day that were not part of the main game. Now with the release of the Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure, I still highly recommend you seek out these weapons as they are not only fun to use but also very good items to have. So definitely be on the lookout for these and go farm them.
7 – Ogre
The Ogre is a Legendary Torgue Assault Rifle that deals explosive damage. The weapon itself deals pretty good damage but its special legendary effect gives it just a bit more punch. Because occasionally the Ogre will get a random buff that can increase its projectile count, reload speed, or add a ricochet effect to the bullets.
You can obtain the Ogre as a rare drop from Warlord Slog in Murderlin’s Temple. You can access the temple in Flamerock Refuge after you accepted the optional mission Find Murderlin’s Temple.
6 – Florentine
The Florentine is a Seraph Maliwan SMG. The unique thing about this weapon is that it fires 2 elements at the same time, being Slag & Shock. This makes the weapon very effective in stripping enemies from their shields. Because Shock deals increased damage to Shields and Slag ads a debuff to the enemy making the other elemental damages more effective.
This Florentine can be purchased from the Seraph Vendor in Flamerock Refuge. However, before you start running to this merchant, you will need to stack up on Seraph Crystals. You can get these by defeating Seraph guardians aka Raid Bosses or playing Tiny Tina’s Lootsplosion Slot Machine in the tavern in Flamerock Refuge or Kill Pixies.
5 – Chain Lightning
The Chain Lightning is a Legendary Maliwan Grenade Mod. This is one of the Magic Spells in Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. It shoots a lightning bolt from your hands and will trigger a chain effect if other enemies are in close proximity of the impact. The cool thing about Magic Spells is that unlike grenades they regenerate ammo over time. This means you don’t have to purchase or pick up grenade ammo to keep casting this spell.
The Chain Lightning can be obtained from Badass Sorcerers. A good place to farm for Badass Sorcerers is in the ‘Temple of Misworship’ which is located in the ‘Lair of infinite agony’.
4 – Omen
The Omen is a Seraph Tediore Shotgun. It shoots a circle of projectiles with one projectile in the middle. You can deal great damage with this weapon if you manage to land all your shots. Because the pattern of the projectiles will expand and contract while flying through the air.
The Omen can only be obtained by defeating the Ancient Dragons of Destruction which you can only do once you completed the main story of Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. When doing so you will be presented with the quest; “Raiders of the Last Boss” in The Winged Storm.
3 – SWORDSPLOSION
The SWORDSPLOSION is an E-Tech Torgue Shotgun. This weapon is a lot of fun to use and I hope it returns in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. This high damage shotgun shoots explosive swords, what more do you want?
You can get the SWORDSPLOSION by completing the “Sword in The Stoner” quest in the Unassuming Docks.
2- Magic Missile
The Magic Missile is a Maliwan Grenade Mod that can come in the Blue/Unique and Purple/Rare variant. You definitely want the Purple/Rare variant as this will cast twice as many projectiles. The Rare Magic Missile throws 4 homing orbs that will seek out their target. This Grenade Mod is a great utility tool for Slagging enemies as it requires minimal effort to debuff enemies while keeping your DPS up.
The Blue Magic Missile can be obtained more easily from Wizards and Necromancer, you want the Purple variant which only drops from Badass Wizards. A good place to farm these is in the ‘Temple of Misworship’ which is located in the ‘Lair of infinite agony’.
1 – Grog Nozzle
The Grog Nozzle is a unique Mailiwan Pistol that you get for the duration of the quest; “The Beard Makes the Man”. This weapon has a lot of cool abilities that will make your life as a Vault Hunter a lot easier. Because it falls in the class of Moxxi weapons you get life steal, so shooting an enemy will return a portion of the damage as life points back to you. The best Moxxi weapon has 12.5% Life Steal the Grog Nozzle has 50.4%.
The Grog Nozzle has a +200% Crit Multiplayer which makes it great for crit swapping or Gunzerking. However, you can get drunk while firing this weapon. This will decrease your accuracy and fire rate but it also increases your projectile count by 5 additional projectiles at no additional ammo consumption.
If you want to keep the Grog Nozzle, you simply need to keep the mission active by not completing it.
