Gearbox Software has hidden a Double Rainbow Easter Egg in Borderlands 2. This easter egg will require you to stand in a specific spot in the game and place them in the right place. In this guide, I’m going to tell you where you can find it and how to activate it.
Borderlands 2 Double Rainbow Easter Egg Guide
1. Go to the Highlands – Hyperion Bridge
Use a Fast Travel Station to get there or travel there from The Fridge if you haven’t discovered the area just yet.
2. Travel to Aggregate Acquisition
There is a Hyperion base across from the Hyperion Bridge. It’s straight ahead when you spawn into the map, however, there is a Catch-A-Ride station to the left of you.
3. Go through the Hyperion Base
You can fight your way through Aggregate Acquisition by parking at the front door, however, you can also sneak in the back by traversing the mountain.
4. Take Point & Be Amazed
When you jump down from the ledge of the Hyperion base you will land in a deserted camp sight. If you go and stand near the edge overseeing the Overlook area the easter egg will activate.
An echo communication from Claptrap or Handsome Jack will start playing as the two Rainbows appear in the background.
What does it mean? Achievement
When you managed to discover the Double Rainbow Easter Egg, you will be rewarded with the “What does it mean?” achievement.
This achievement is a reference to the viral Double Rainbow video on YouTube.
