Gearbox Software has hidden a Giant Teddy Bear Easter Egg in Borderlands 2. This easter egg will require you to find two invisible objects in the game and place them in the right place. In this guide, I’m going to tell you where you can find it and how to activate it.
Borderlands 2 Giant Teddy Bear Easter Egg Guide
1. Go to the Wildlife Exploitation Preserve
Use a Fast Travel Station to get there or travel there from The Highlands if you haven’t discovered the area just yet.
2. Travel to the Preserve Dockyard
There is a shipping dock with a big crane in the southern area of the map. You will encounter a lot of loader bots in this section of the map.
3. Pick Up Teddy Bear Head
You will find a radio tower once you made your way through the docks and are about to jump into the preserve. Take a right coming from the stairs and walk to the antenna. First, you need to interact with a leave before the message pops up, now you can pick up the Teddy Bear Head.
4. Pick Up Teddy Bear Torso
You can climb up the facility across from the preservation entrance. Jump on the boxes and go right and jump up the next building. There you will see some leaves next to the door. First, you need to interact with a leave before another message pops up, now you can pick up the Teddy Bear Body.
5. Place Teddy Bear
Now you need to place the completed Teddy Bear on the building on the other side of the facility. Turn around from where you picked up the Teddy Bear Torso and you will notice a greenish placeholder on the pipe. That’s where you need to place the Teddy Bear.
You can only jump onto that building by first jumping on top of the Shock Barrel. If this barrel has already exploded, you could try and rocket/grenade jump onto the building. Remove your grenade mod to reduce the damage from your grenade and jump up as the grenade is about to explode.
6. Watch the Crane
If you managed to place the Teddy Bear on the pipe, you need to revert your attention to the giant crane that’s transporting crates all this time. The next time the crane will get a crate it will be replaced with a giant Teddy Bear.
