Collecting all Pieces of Resistance is one of the Crew Challenges in Borderlands 3‘s first DLC; Moxxi’s Heist on the Handsome Jackpot. In this objective, one of the side characters called Ember asks you to sabotage all the statues of the antagonist, Pretty Boy. You will come across 5 statues throughout this story campaign add-on.
In this Borderlands 3 Guide, I’m going to tell you where you can find them and what your reward is for completing this challenge. None of Ember’s Statues are missable as you can still complete the quest if you already completed the DLC.

Pieces of Resistance Locations
There are 5 Pieces of Resistance hidden throughout Moxxi’s Heist on the Handsome Jackpot. They will appear on your mini-map once you get close enough. Then you need to find the best way to climb up to them. You need to interact with the statue when you stand next to them in order to check off the objective.
Ember wants us to deliver some special “packages” to help get rid of Pretty Boy’s intrusive security measures.

Pieces of Resistance Rewards
You will receive the “Firebug” achievement/trophy when you manage to sabotage all the statues for Ember’s Crew Challenge.
On top of that, Ember will reward you with a Legendary Weapon called “Ember’s Purge”. This Maliwan SMG has the ability to create lava pools underneath your enemy’s feet that deal massive damage. You will find this weapon in your in-game mailbox.
You can only get this legendary weapon by completing this challenge. So you get one on Normal Mode and on True Vault Hunter Mode. You could reset your playthrough and start all over again or you might just be lucky and find one in the Diamond Armory.
