Collection all the Bottles of Mister Torgue’s Marketing Mistake is one of the Crew Challenges in Borderlands 3‘s first DLC; Moxxi’s Heist on the Handsome Jackpot. In this objective, one of the side characters, Mr. Torgue asks you to collect multiple hot sauce bottles as he has made a terrible product and needs to recall it. You will come across 5 Hot Sauce Bottles throughout this story campaign add-on.
In this Borderlands 3 Guide, I’m going to tell you where you can find them and what your reward is for completing this challenge. None of the Sauce Bottles Locations are missable as you can still complete the quest if you already completed the DLC.

All Torgue’s Marketing Mistake Locations
There are 5 Hot Sauce Locations hidden throughout Moxxi’s Heist on the Handsome Jackpot. They will appear on your mini-map once you get close enough. Then you need to defeat the named enemy in order to check off the objective.

“YOU SMELL THAT SHT, VAULT HUNTER? THAT’S THE SMELL OF TOGUE’S NAPALMGRANATE-FLAVORED BOMB SAUCE. IT SMELLS LIKE VICTORY AND TASTES LIKE FCKING EXPLOSIONS. BLOW THAT BOTTLE UP! AND DON’T TOUCH YOUR EYES FOR A FEW WEEKS!
1. The Spendopticon
The first bottle of hot sauce can be found in the Over-Charge area in The Spendopticon map. You will find it sitting on a plank that’s hanging from the sealing.
WAY TO BOMB THAT BOMB SAUCE TO SH*T, VAULT HUNTER! YOU’VE JUST MADE THE WHOLE WORLD A LITTLE BIT SAFER, AND A WHOLE LOT MORE DELICIOUS!

2. The Spendopticon
The Second bottle of hot sauce can be found in the J-Spot area in The Spendopticon map. You will need to climb up the rock structure with all the statues on it. The bottle is hidden behind some boarding on the construction bar.

3. The Compacter
The third bottle of hot sauce can be found just before the entrance to the Trashlantis area of The Compactor map. You will need to climb up to the container that emits a blue light. Simply climb up the yellow container that’s on the ground. Then jump up to the red plates hanging from that machinery. As you make your way to the bottle you need to climb up using one of the construction bars.

4. Jack’s Secret
The fourth bottle of hot sauce can be found in the “If You’re Seeing This And You’re Not Jack, Suck A Butt” area of the Jack’s Secret Map. This bottle is hidden at the beginning of the map. It’s right around the first hard corner, just before you need to fall down into the crawling space. The bottle is up on the ledge behind some boarding.

5. VIP Tower
The fifth and final bottle of hot sauce can be found in the Luxuria area on the VIP Tower map. The bottle is in a VIP Room to the right of the Executive Shaft/Elevator where Freddie spawns. You will find the bottle sitting on the table in the center of the room.
BOOM! ON THE ONE HAND, THAT’S ONE LESS EXPLOSIVE DEVICE IN THE WORLD. ON THE OTHER HAND, NOW I’M SAFE FROM LIABILITY AND CAN MAKE MORE F*CKING EXPLOSIONS!

Torgue’s Marketing Mistake Rewards
You will receive the “Scovillain” achievement/trophy when you manage to destroy all 5 hot sauce bottles for Mr. Torgue’s Crew Challenge.
Completing this quest will also reward you with a Legendary Weapon called the Scoville. This Torgue Pistol shoots those hot sauce bottles you have been destroying throughout this quest. The Scoville will be delivered to your in-game mailbox.
