There is a rollercoaster ride hidden in Borderlands 3. While the giant theme park attraction isn’t hard to miss, it isn’t directly clear that it’s an interactive ride. In this Borderlands 3 Guide, I’m going to tell you where to find the rollercoaster, how to ride it, and what secret mini-game is hidden during the ride.

Borderlands 3: Rollercoaster Location
You can find the hidden Rollercoaster in The Splinterlands on the planet Pandora. You want to travel to this location by using the Chop Shop Fast Travel Location. There you want to jump into a vehicle and drive past Princess Tarantella II. You will find a COV camp on your right with the theme park attraction inside.
How to ride the rollercoaster?
You can ride the Borderlands 3 rollercoaster by jumping into the first card at the front of the rollercoaster.
- Interacting with the first cart to jump into the vehicle.
- Shoot the bullseye that’s in front of the carts to start the rollercoaster ride.
Rollercoaster Targets
You will encounter several bullseye targets when you ride the rollercoaster. The challenge is to hit them all successfully to gain a secret prize.
Tips & Tricks
- Always look in front of the carts and scout for the bullseye targets.
- Use an accurate weapon with low recoil.
Rollercoaster Reward
When all the targets are successfully hit, a door will open at the entrance of the rollercoaster ride. You will find a big red chest inside this locked-off area.
Red Chests have the highest chance of spawning high-quality loot and therefore have a 30-minute in-game cooldown to prevent Save&Quit farming.
Tips & Tricks
- Equip the Shlooter and kill an enemy to increase the loot quality of the Red Chest. Destroying your own vehicle also triggers the artifact’s special ability.
- Use a Butt Stallion Milk from the Borderlands Science Machine to increase the loot quality.
My Perspective
I think the rollercoaster is an awesome addition to Borderlands 3. It’s a fun addition and lets you experience something new in the game. Borderlands is also about the weird stuff. The challenge isn’t that difficult but it is a fun way for players to get some quality loot. I would love to see Gearbox Software create more of these hidden things.
