MIMIC enemies disguise themselves as a loot chest in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, however, whenever you interact with them, they will attack you! There is even a small chance that you will encounter a MIMIC room in the Chaos Chambers. You will be ambushed by MIMICs in this secret room and if that’s not overwhelming enough there is a chance they become immune to your damage. So how do you solve that problem?
MIMIC Guide
Motherlode Mimics are the big Mimics with two yellow armor bars on top of their health. They will summon these mini-mimics but when you hit the Motherlode Mimic all of the smaller mimics with become immune.
MIMICs or other Loot enemies that seem to be immune to all damage can only be defeated by using Melee Weapons. It is just your Guns and Spells that won’t affect them.
Motherlode Mimics are also immune to non-melee damage. They keep running away from you until the line of sight is broken, then they will turn into a loot chest again. When you quickly look away and then continue your pursuit again is enough for the transformation.
Tips To Defeat MIMICS
- Use the Stab-o-Matic shotgun as it also deals Melee Damage.
- The Mage Staff and Salt and Battery are great Melee Weapons to take down the MIMICs
