Gestalt Fane Guide
This Shroudfane first throws a Red construct in your face to grab your attention, however, blue battlemages will pick you apart from a distance. You can take down the Construct from the entrance with Red Magic and use the wall as cover from the Blue Mages. The Blue mages need to be countered with Blue Magic, keep your shield on standby. While Blue Battlemages are not affected by the gravity pull from the Vortex Fury Spell it does still do damage.
Once you managed to defeat this initial wave, the game will throw a wave of green battlemages at you. You can slow down the speedy green mages by using your Limpets and then hit them with your Green Magic Sigil or Torrent Fury Spell. Green Battlemages love to create large green nova blasts that require you to leave the area fast, however, you can also hit them with your Disrupt Lens when their Lifebar turns yellow as this counters their attack.
Next up is a wave of Red Battlemages. Unlike the previous two waves, these enemies like to get up close. You can use your strongest Red Sigil because they are weak against Red Magic but the Blastwave Fury Spell will also be helpful when multiple enemies are on top of you. If things heat up too much for you, there are Grapple Anchors around the map that you can use to quickly escape the scene.
Finally, there is a mixed wave where Red, Green, and Blue Battlemages will attack you. Systematically, eliminate each type from the battlefield. I always start with Red to remove the pressure the game is putting on you. Then I’ll do the Green enemies as they use homing projectiles. Blue are the “snipers” but they are at a distance and if you keep moving, you can kinda avoid taking damage. Then again, my build is centered around Green Magic, so I can easily take care of Green enemy types.
