Horde Fane Guide

This Shroudfane has you fighting against multiple waves of enemies. The first wave will primarily contain Red Magic users. This means you can easily counter them with Red Magic. You can easily lock these lightweight enemies in a Vortex as they want to ambush you and therefore are already close to you. You can finish them off with your Red Magic Sigil or a powerful Blastwave.

The second wave contains Green Battlemages. Use Limpets to slow down your enemies but if you can disrupt the big magic attacks the Green Magi cast. You can easily target your opponents as Green Magic contains homing projectiles. Keep moving and let your Green Sigil or Torrent Fury do the work.

The third wave contains Blue Battlemages. Use the cover that the environment provides you to your advantage. Enemies won’t be affected by Vortex but do take damage from it. You can use Timeburst to slow down enemies as their shields will prevent you from tagging them with Limpets.

Having the Melee Talent that destroys Shields is very useful during this wave. You run a circle and position the enemies in a way that lets you get the upper hand with the Shatter Fury.

The fourth and final wave contains Badass Red Magic enemies, therefore, they aren’t really affected by the Vortex Spell. Use the Blastwave spell to your advantage as the enemies will swarm you. You will probably walk backward a lot during this wave. Breachfire and Burstfire spells are more effective the closer you are so you might want to use a Fragfire if you want to keep your distance.
