The Lash is a Blue Control Spell in Immortals of Aveum that can be used to pull in enemies but also to grapple onto these Anchor Points throughout the game. While you obtain the Lash pretty early in the game, you cannot immediately use the Lash Anchors during your adventure. Immortals of Avuem doesn’t explain to you what these glowing purple lights are in the sky and leaves you wondering why you cannot use your chain on these grapple points to reach new areas.
How to use Grapple Anchor Points
The Lash can be upgraded with the Grapple ability. This allows you to attach the Lash onto Blue Anchor Points. The Grapple Ability is Unlocked in Mission 8 “Exile” by simply following the main story quests. You can also ride the Laylines when you obtain the Grapple Ability.
There are a lot of areas you can revisit when you first obtain the ability to use the Lash Anchors, however, the developers from Ascendant Studios have also hidden a few of them throughout the game that lead to hidden Golden Chests. So keep an eye out for those swirling purple lights.
