Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ End Game content is the Chaos Chamber. During a Chaos Chamber Run, you will need to clear out multiple Dungeons. However, after you completed the first chamber, the Dragon Lord will be waiting for you. He will provide you with a choice as he presents two random curses. Each curse will act as a modifier and have some kind of debuff or challenging impact on the following dungeons during your run.
Curses are divided into easy, medium, and hard tiers. Each curse impacts the difficulty of your run. The tougher the curse the more crystals you will earn during your run. These Crystals can then be used to summon loot from the loot bunnies at the end of a Chaos Chamber Run.
While the first curse is always waiting for you at the end of the first dungeon room. You can add more curses to your run when you pick the Dragon Lord portal after each encounter. When you picked the Dragon Lord portal he will be waiting for you at the end of the next encounter and once again present you with two random curses.

List of Curses
Curses are divided into Easy, Medium, and Hard modifiers. By adding curses to your Chaos Chamber run, you gain bonus crystals. The more difficult a curse is, the more bonus crystals you get.
- Easy: +30% Bonus Crystals, +25% Crystal Drop Chance on Enemy Death.
- Medium: +60% Bonus Crystals, +25% Crystal Drop Chance on Enemy Death.
- Hard: +1200% Bonus Crystals, +25% Crystal Drop Chance on Enemy Death.
Easy Curses
- +30% Bonus Crystals
- +25% Crystal Drop Chance on Enemy Death
Curse | Description |
---|---|
Anarchy | +25% Gun Damage, +100% Recoil, +100% Weapon Spread |
Critical Connoisseur | -50% to all Damage, +50% Crit Damage. |
Encroaching Darkness | Save Your Soul timer is reduced. |
Party Time | Killing an enemy has a +10% chance to cause a LOOTSPLOSION! Critical Kills guarantee an enemy will Lootsplode. |
Rend and Rupture | Non-boss enemies below 15% total armor, wards, and health will glow blue and explode into health potions if damaged by melee. |
Trust in Magic | -50% Maximum Health, +100% Maximum Ward. |
Watch Your Step | Encounters have additional traps. |
Easy Curses don’t always add a layer of difficulty to your Chaos Chamber run. Often their impact is minimal but they can also provide a nice boost. The Party Time modifier would be my favorite as it adds more loot to your run.
Medium Curses
- +60% Bonus Crystals
- +25% Crystal Drop Chance on Enemy Death
Curse | Description |
---|---|
Break It Up! | Enemy Damage and Fire Rate is increased 30% while near other enemies. |
Frozen Vengeance | Killing an enemy has a chance to release a Frost Buddy. Frost Orbs constantly release Frost Novas and are slowed when damaged. |
Healing Vengeance | Killing an enemy has a chance to release a Healing Soul. It will heal the first enemy it touches. Drops health potions on death. |
Magma Breach | A pool of lava will spawn after dealing or taking damage for a duration while not moving in encounters. |
Nasty Spill | Enemies drop elemental pools when their armor, wards, or health are depleted. |
Nullify | When damaged, enemies gain 3% Damage Reduction against the type of Damage received for 3 seconds. This effect can stack up to 20 times. |
Trapped Hearts | When hit, enemies have a chance to spawn a Spinner trap. Spinner traps emit damaging elemental beams. When destroyed, the Spinner will explode and cause significant damage. |
Workplace Hazards | Non-boss encounters now have additional hazards, |
Medium Curses have some nasty modifiers but also others you don’t really notice. I don’t like Frozen Vengeance because they seek you out and deal constant Cryo Novas. When you go down into ‘Save Your Soul’, you can get back up by shooting the orb.
Nasty Spill drops a lot of elemental pools, which can flood some areas making it impossible to navigate. Also, say goodbye to your melee build.
Hard Curses
- +120% Bonus Crystals
- +25% Crystal Drop Chance on Enemy Death
Curse | Description |
---|---|
Buff Buddies | Enemies have a chance to spawn with a Buff Buddy supporting them. |
Bulwark Buddies | Enemies may be supported by a Bulwark Buddy, which grants immunity to all Damage until it is destroyed. |
Elemental Overflow | Enemies may be infused with one element per encounter. Infused enemies are immune to that type of damage and release a Nova when killed. The element will change each encounter. |
Out, Damned DOT! | Status Effect Damage against enemies is reduced by 80%. |
Rogue Lite | You no longer enter Save Your Soul before dying. All enemies drop health potions upon death. |
Searing Tether | Nearby enemies are attached by a damaging elemental beam. |
Spectral Vengeance | Killing an enemy has a chance to release a Spectre, which follows after you. If a Spectre touches you, you instantly enter Save Your Soul. |
Stay Back | At close range, enemies will attach a damaging elemental beam to you. |
Toothless | -75% Critical Hit Damage |
Hard Curses can be brutal as there are serious debuffs in this category, although, I find them less intrusive than Borderlands 3’s Mayhem Modifiers. Rogue Lite was always a favorite in BL3, however, barrels can easily take you down in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. So beware!
Spectral Vengeance sounds scary but the skull doesn’t have a lot of health, so you can easily take it out.
Bulwark Buddies can be tough as it makes enemies immune to all types of damage. You need to destroy the floating cube to be able to deal damage to that enemy again. This does require some aim.
Elemental Overflow only has a one in six chance to negate your damage. Since all enemies in that encounter are immune to the same element, you can easily choose your gear.
Try and avoid combining the Rogue Lite and Spectral Vengeance curses. As one will instantly take you down and the other prevents you from getting back up.
Should I add more Curses to my Chaos Chamber Run?
- Yes, you should add additional curses to your Chaos Chamber run if you want to maximize your crystals.
- No, you should not add additional curses to your Chaos Chamber run when you want to level up your chaos level.
