Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands introduced 6 playable character classes at launch and added 1 additional class as post-launch content. In this Class Tier List, I will tell you what the best character classes are.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands offers a Multi-Class system which is a different approach to skill trees compared to Gearbox Software’s Borderlands franchise. You need to choose a primary class at the start of the game and an additional one later throughout the story. The primary class is set in stone and can’t be respec-ed in the quick change station.
Get ready to choose the best Class for you, which secondary Class to add to that, and select what Backstory to start with.

Best Class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
#7: Clawbringer
The Clawbringer has been the weakest class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands ever since the game’s launch. Gearbox Software did boost the Clawbringer Class, however, it still can’t compete with the other character classes in the game.
The Clawbringer doesn’t have any double-dipping skills that you can abuse at End Game and the Capstone Skill also isn’t great.
Storm Judgement is a nice action skill and can be paired nicely with the Stabbomancer’s Chemical Agent Skill.
There is a better Melee Class and a better Companion Class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands so the Clawbringer falls off.
Noteworthy Clawbringer Skills
The Clawbringer’s Skill Tree lets you specialize in Fire and Lightning Damage while utilizing their trusty Wyvern Companion.
- Oath of Fire: Your guns and Wyvern Companion deal Bonus Fire Damage.
- Awe: Dealing Fire Damage increases your Crit Damage and dealing Lightning Damage increases your Crit Chance for a short time.
- Storm Smite: Activating your Action Skill, calls down 4 Elemental Bolts that deal Fire Ability Damage or Lightning Ability Damage to all nearby enemies.
Clawbringer Complimentary Classes
The Clawbringer has great synergies with these classes:
- Brr-Zerker / Storm Warden: Synergy with Storm Smite
- Graveborn: Focus on a companion build
#6: Stabbomancer
The Stabbomancer is a strong class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, however, you do need an understanding of its mechanics to get the most out of it. Its action skill called From the Shadow is a solid all-around ability to have.
The Stabbomancer is a good complimentary class that can go in any direction when paired with a secondary class.
Noteworthy Stabbomancer Skills
The Stabbomancer’s Skill Tree lets you specialize in dealing critical hit damage and create interesting combat loops by combining Gun & Spell Damage with Melee Attacks. You can also have fun with stacking elemental damage types.
- Chemical Agent: Melee Critical Hits apply a random Status Effect (10% of Melee Damage dealt)
- Contagion: Applied Status Effects have the chance to spread to nearby enemies. If no enemies are nearby, apply a new Status Effect to the 1st target instead.
- Executioner’s Blade: Gun and Spell Critical Hits have a chance to spawn an Ethereal Blade that impales the target shortly after, dealing Physical Melee Damage.
Stabbomancer Complimentary Classes
The Stabbomancer has great synergies with these classes:
- Any: The Stabbomancer can be linked with any character class due to its all-round kit.
- Blightcaller: Double down on Elemental Damage
#5: Graveborn
The Graveborn is not the most friendly class for new or solo players as this class leans into the high-risk high-reward play style with its action skill, however, this doesn’t make the Graveborn a weak character class to play.
The Graveborn has a bunch of skills that provide more health and healing, so while your Action Skill consumes your HP in return for damage, this class can be pretty tanky.
The Action Skills aren’t great at End Game if you are doing Chaos Level 100 but Graveborn has a lot of Healing capabilities that empower you.
The Graveborn is great for doing a Companion Build with the Faithful Thralls and Dark Hydra skills but you can also lean into a Spell Build with the Blast Gasp (Double Dips) and Morhaim’s Blessing Skills.
Noteworthy Graveborn Skills
The Graveborn’s Skill Tree lets you specialize in dealing Dark Magic, stacking companions and utilizing them to your advantage.
- Faithful Thralls: Increases your Damage dealt for each Companion and your Companion Respawn Rate.
- Dark Hydra: Killing an enemy has a chance to summon a Dark Hydra Companion, that deals Dark Magic Ability Damage to nearby enemies for a short time.
- Blast Gasp: Dealing Spell Damage has a chance to create an explosion, dealing Ability Damage of the Spell’s element to nearby enemies. (This skill can double dip)
- Morhaim’s Blessing: Casting a Spell triggers all your Kill Skills.
Graveborn Complimentary Classes
The Graveborn has great synergies with these classes:
- Spellshot: Double down on Magic Spells
- Any Companion Class: Graveborn is great for buffing other companions
#4: Brr-Zerker
The Brr-Zerker is a Melee class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. It has some good reliable damage formulas you can double dip. The Frozen element is a strong damage type in TTWL and the Brr-Zerker leans into that with its Enraged Class Feat and skills.
The Brr-Zerker has good survivability with its Unyielding and Unarmored Defense skills.
Melee can be great, however, you are not able to defeat every boss with Melee attacks.
Noteworthy Brr-Zerker Skills
The Brr-Zerker’s Skill Tree lets you specialize in Melee and Frost damage, while also utilizing their Enraged Class Feat.
- Ice Breaker: You deal increased Damage to Slowed Enemies. The closer an enemy is to being Frozen, the greater this bonus.
- Blood Frenzy: Killing an enemy restores Health and extends your Enrage duration.
- Blood of the Fallen: Killing an enemy reduces your Skill Cooldown. If an Action Skill is active, its duration is extended instead.
Brr-Zerker Complimentary Classes
The Brr-Zerker has great synergies with these classes:
- Stabbomancer: Enhance your ranged attacks
- Graveborn: Benefit from the Dark Magic during your melee attacks
#3: Spore warden
The Spore Warden is a good Gun Class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. It is a great solo class as your Mushroom companion can revive you out of Save Your Soul. Your companion is helpful when you are starting out, however, at End Game it will lose some mileage.
The Blizzard Action Skill isn’t great for End Game but the Barrage Action Skill can easily be used to trigger Enchantments.
Noteworthy Spore Warden Skills
The Spore Warden’s Skill Tree lets you specialize in Ranged Weapons and Companions.
- Medicinal Mushroom: Your Mushroom Companion gets the ability to revive you. If it does, both of you gain increased Damage dealt for a short time.
- Play the Angles: Gun Critical Hits have a chance to Ricochet, dealing reduced Ability Damage. Ricochets have a chance to further ricochet.
- Wrath of Nature: Dealing Ability Damage to an enemy, increases all Damage to that enemy for a short time.
Spore Warden Complimentary Classes
The Spore Warden has great synergies with these classes:
- Brr-Zerker: Great Cryo Damage increases
- Stabbomancer: Great Elemental Damage increases
#2: Spellshot
The Spellshot is the best magic caster in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and because you can convert that power back into your guns, the Spellshot is the most powerful base game character class.
Spellweaving is extremely powerful and you can go wild with magic spells. The Ambi-Hextrous Action Skill allows you to equip 1 extra Enchantment, something other classes can’t do.
This is the Primary Class that I play as I really like the ability to cast two spells because magic spells are like mini-skills in TTWL.
MentalMars
Noteworthy Spellshot Skills
The Spellshot’s Skill Tree lets you specialize in Spells and Ranged Weapons.
- Double Knot: Scoring a Spell Critical Hit, causes the spell to deal Bonus Damage of your gun’s element.
- High Thread Count: Increases your Max Spellweaving Stacks.
- Sever the Thread: Gun Critical Hits have a chance to reset all Spell Cooldowns. This skill has a short cooldown.
Spellshot Complimentary Classes
The Spellshot has great synergies with these classes:
- Graveborn: Double down on Spell and negate the Glass Canon Skill
- Stabbomancer: Increase Critical Hits
#1: Blightcaller
The Blightcaller excels in elemental damage and is the strongest character class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands because you can create an infinite damage loop, however, you do need the Shattering Spectreglass DLC to play this class.
Blightcaller Noteworthy Skills
The Blightcaller’s Skill Tree lets you specialize in poison and elemental damage, while also channeling spirits and summoning storms.
- Virulence: Increases your Status Effect Chance and Duration.
- Geist in the Shell: Guns Critical Hits have a chance to create a homing Poison Bog Spirit.
- Spirit Swarm: Applying a Status Effect has a chance to spawn a Spirit Swarm Companion.
Blightcaller Complimentary Class
The Blightcaller has great synergies with these classes:
- Stabbomancer: Great for stacking elemental damages
- Spore Warden: Great to debuff enemies and stack Gun damage
Best Secondary Class in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
The Stabbomancer and the Graveborn are likely the best all-round secondary classes in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands due to their kit.
The Stabbomancer is great for adding Critical Hit and Elemental Damage.
The Graveborn is great for adding Survivability and Strengthening your Spells and Companions.
That said, there are a ton of awesome builds in TTWL that mix various classes.
A Backstory that Matters to Level up Your Class
Great, you have chosen the best character class for you but now your hero needs a backstory that optimizes your build. Background stories impact your character’s stats in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and each one leans toward a specific character class. Here is my guide for the Best Backstories in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands because your backstory will also be set in stone and you won’t be able to change it like your Primary Class.
