About Borderlands 2 “The NPC’s” Wallpaper
This Borderlands 2 wallpaper is based on the NPC’s we see during the Borderlands 2 Launch Date Trailer with the famous Doomsday soundtrack (Wub Wub). When this trailer was shown I thought these are the important characters in the game we will interact with. We see fan favorites return and we are getting introduced to a few new ones. Back in 2012, before the launch of the game, I didn’t have any character renders from these characters . Therefore I captured some screenshots from these characters and used them from my wallpaper. I created somewhat of a polaroid photo collage on a Borderlands 2 background I made back then. Now 5 years later i’m remastering this wallpaper, but i don’t want to mess up the idea of the original to much.
Borderlands 2 Wallpaper – NPC – Remaster Comparison
With this remaster i changed the background texture to a more up to date version of the Borderlands 2 grudge i didn’t had back then. I kept the background a bit more neutral this time as there is a lot going on with the old version. I moved the Vault symbol from the center to the left to balance out the overal look of the wallpaper. The big Borderlands 2 logo got moved down and significantly reduced in size as it’s just overkill in the original. The polaroid photos got a bit more color and the paper texture is replaced with realistic materials. The photos now have a bit more of a curve in them and now feature the names of the characters.
