About This Borderlands 2 Wallpaper
Borderlands 2 launched with 4 vault hunters, Axton, Maya, Salvador & Zero, but during development Gearbox Software was already thinking about a new character class that we could play as. For everyone who had pre-order Borderlands 2 would get Gaige the Mechromancer for free. With the release of the first character renders i created some nice wallpapers with all the vault hunters and one of my populair Borderlands 2 Wallpaper ‘Crossing the Lines‘ , i wanted to make something like that but now also featuring Gaige. I didn’t want to take the easy road and copy paste her on to this old borderlands 2 wallpaper, i needed a new concept not something i already did twice. So i created a whole new layout featuring the 5 vault hunters Axton, Maya, Salvador, Zero AND GAIGE. I kept the splatter effects the Borderlands artwork is known for but also gave it a bit of a glowing effect.
