About Borderlands and This Athena Wallpaper
Athena the Gladiator is the main Vault Hunter who tells the tale of Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. She was the first playable character that was shown off by Gearbox Software & 2K Australia. Athena is a returning character from the Original Borderlands, where she was part of the campaign add-on, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. After the events of that third DLC where Athena helped the Vault Hunters take down Atlas, she traveled back to Pandora and became a gun for hire. As she was desperate for money, Athena took the job of becoming a Vault Hunter for a low-level Hyperion programmer named Jack. Who we later will become to know as Handsome Jack in Borderlands 2.
This Athena wallpaper continues the style that I made with the Claptrap Wallpaper a while back. I Made a moonstone vault logo with a space background just like the video game. If you look through the Vault logo you can see Pandora’s Moon, Elpis. I cut out Athena and placed her in front of the iconic vault logo. Because it’s in space you got to have a nebula and asteroids.
