Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze main villains are the Snowmads as they not only disturb Donkey Kong’s birthday party, they also take over the island and dispose of the kongs. Setting Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong and Cranky Kong on Lost Mangroves island, the Snowmads turn the sunny DK island into one cold snowy place. Lord Fredrik is the main antagonist of this game, he is the fearsome Waldough leader of the Snowmads.
Retro Studios returns as developer on the Donkey Kong franchise with this new installment for Wii U. In the past the studio had been responsible for reinventing the Metroid serie with there Metroid Prime games, bringing the franchise over to the 3D world. A new element to Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is the 3D elements where the game camera takes on a different point of view and turning the 2D platformer into a 3D immersion.
With my previous Donkey Kong Wallpaper i was experimenting with the colors, but when i removed the color it turns out beautifully. Only the setting wasn’t right, as the wallpaper was all cold and white there where grapes hanging from the trees. So i needed to shift the context by making it a snowy and cold wallpaper. Therefor not Donkey Kong but the final boss, Lord Fredrik, is featured on the Tropical Freeze Wallpaper.
