Play as one of the 9 Warcraft Heroes in Blizzards card battle game, HearthStone. This strategy game let’s you take turns and place different card on table. With over 300 cards and 9 playable classes with each having their own unique ability you can create some diverse strategies and tactics. Between each hero image i placed a divider with a glow effect, setting the layer blend mode to dodge creates a “magical”burning effect adding to the look and feel of the HearthStone Wallpaper. On the edges of the HearthStone Artwork a recreated a basic card look. It’s a bit more of a clean design than the original hand drawn card, but it fits well. For the background i originally had a light brown background planned, but when i started adding the HearthStone logo as a pattern i needed to make the background a bit darker. By using the same backdrop but only using the openside colors this blue color raised above, giving the wallpaper a lot more contrast. By adding a bit more glow to the logos and the artwork it all comes together.
