About The Link Wallpaper
Hyrule Warriors is a spin-off of the Legend of Zelda series, but plays like the Dynasty-Warriors games. Link has always been the main playable character in The Legend of Zelda games, with Hyrule Warriors that’s different because you can choose out of a wide range of characters. So you can strike down entire legions of enemies playing as one of your favorite Legend of Zelda characters. Although this video game draws heavily from previous Zelda titles Hyrule Warriors is not part of the official Zelda timeline.
Link is also known as the ‘Hero of Time’ in Ocarina of Time or ‘Hero of Winds’ in the Wind Waker. With this new action packed spin-off Link has gotten a bit of fashion style upgrade, he is now wearing a trendy scarf, but it suits him well. In this wallpaper i wanted to showcase some of the over the top magic, within the large scale battles Link is able to perform special attacks by filling up a special or magic gauge. These awesome magic blast is something i always wanted to see returning to the Zelda franchise. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past had some sweet magic tables back in the 16bit era. In Ocarina of Time Link also had some magic spells, but i found them a bit limited. This was probably because of hardware limitations but they felt a bit underwhelming. With Hyrule Warriors a lot more particles fly around making it more a spectacle, eye candy. Hopefully they will feel satisfying and pack some punch. For this wallpaper i used the Link character render and gave him his piece of the Triforce, the Triforce of Courage.
